Offered for sale is Jake a 2yr old male German Shorthair. He is a liver roan with large liver patches. He is has almost no white, instead he has almost a gray marbling on his legs.

He is a big teddy bear. He has good kennel manners, has been in the home off and on. I raised him from a pup. Has been around kids, can get rough, but doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Can get territorial around the house with other males, but never when hunting.

He is large, about 70 pounds. His bloodlines are heavy with Jigs White Smoke, PJ Wildfire and Rawhide. He is intact.

He has been hunted hard on pheasants. He has some quail history, but he is a much better dog on pheasants.

He is not steady to wing and shot. He understands basic ground commands: come, sit, kennel up, get ahead etc. He will work for anyone. His retrieving is excellent, whether playing fetch or making a 40yrd retrieve on a downed, running rooster. He would make a good family hunter.

I am selling because I need the kennel space for trial prospects, and as much as I love Jake, he doesn't fit into my future plans.
