Jay is an experienced 2 year old guide dog. He has a great nose and good head for finding wild birds. Probably because his genetics come from 25x CH Crows Little Joe, HOF 9x NC Honkytonk Attitude and 4x to Fiddlin Rocky Boy. He has some good old blood pumping thru his veins. Of course, those dogs are a ways back now though. His recent parentage are great wild bird dogs bred to produce birds and good hunting trips which is exactly what the old Joe and Bull blood did.

He is whoa broke, whistle trained, here broke, will back another dog from a mile and hunts hard. He'll stay in if a person wants him to for hunting pheasants in Kansas or single quail. If he has a short coming, its that his retrieving isn't perfect. He'd rather be hunting so it may end up dropped in front of you. Pretty small price to pay though for this capable of a dog.
