I am selling my yellow female named Adah. She has been an excellent guide dog for me...as well as a wonderful mom to her puppies. Adah on numerous occasions has retrieved ducks and geese at the 400-500 yard mark. She has a wealth of training that is applicable to the field...such as: hand signals, verbal/whistle/hand commands, knows down at a distance, kennels & rides well in the back of a truck, holds and soft mouthed, will stay in one place when sat... even when you go almost out of sight 1/2 mile, beeper trained to come in on tone button, collar conditioned, and numerous numerous other things I have taught her will guiding. She is just simply a joy to hunt with and clients have loved her. I am moving locations and desire for her to continue doing what she loves to do and thats retrieve anything from ducks, doves, geese, quail...you name it. She has even been trained to trail downed turkeys (bowhunting purposes), has bloodtrailed a deer before, and has picked up sheds. Adah doesn't bark and is kennel trained. She has been in numerous demonstrations around the state. I have never ran Adah in hunt tests...although she could have but she has just mainly served as my guide dog. Hunt tests are wonderful...they are the proving grounds for dogs and a wonderful thing...but there is one thing that cannot be replaced no matter how hard we try and "make up" hunting scenarios and that is....true live fire duck blind experience and Adah has been in on a lot of it since she was 1 year old and is settled and steady. She has hunted out of pit blinds, lay-out blinds, floating blinds, boats, sled blinds, dog stands, etc and the majority of the ducks/geese she has retrieved are blinds. She loves to dove hunt as well. She has a strong nose and knows her job and loves it!

She has whelped three litters in her life and my vet says that she should have one more. Litters out of her can bring anywhere from $4500-10,000 depending on the male. She has all 5 health clearances and has been such a blessing to us with puppies. She throws many Fox Red pups in her litters usually with the right male.
