Girl is one of 3 sisters that we saved from our breeding program. They are the 3 best bred German shorthairs that we’ve owned and their mom was the best producing female we ever had. Primo breeding stock and great foot hunting dogs. None of them are real big runners even though they have that sort of genetics.

Girl is a close range dog that works quick and methodical and has a GREAT nose. She’s perfect for shooting preserves or wild bird hunting where a close range (under 50 yards) dog is needed. She's especially well suited for wild pheasant or grouse hunting and wild quail hunting if you don't want a real big running dog.


Of course, Girl is completely gundog trained (points steady to flush, retrieves to hand, backs on site), whoa broke, whistle trained, here broke, collar conditioned etc. Also, she handles effortlessly. You never have to whistle or knick her with the collar. She hunts out front, trouble free and is an absolute dream to hunt with.
