"Jade" is owned and ran by Steve Herring. She is a professional guide dog at Little Toledo (one of the premier wing shooting lodges in the country). Jade is hands down a better dog than 99% of people will ever own. She was raised from a puppy by Steve and has been under his expert guidance from day one. Steve is not made of money by any means and has only been able to run her a few times in NSTRA. In those 5 times he has taken a 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd and 2 4ths, one of which was in the Regional Elimination. That's pretty good considering he runs in the MO/KAN Region which is nothing more than a bunch of guys giving placements to their friends and Steve's not in the "in crowd". Steve has been going through a "rough patch" in life for the last few months and desperately needs the money or he wouldn't even think of selling his 2 lead dogs (Ace is the other one).

"Jade" is broke as good as any dog in the country. She is 4 years old. She has had literally thousands of birds a year shot over her. Steve gets repeat clients at the preserve that request her, not him (I give him a lot of crap about that, however, it's a heck of a testament to a bird dog!) The person that get's to pick up either her or Ace (a rocking b/w male that he has for sale on our website too) is getting the finest foot hunting dog they will ever own and any of their buddies will ever see. If you are a NSTRA guy and looking for a dog that you can take straight out and win with, here's your girl. She's bred out the wazoo too. He really needs the money however, he said that he will consider partial trades or I can take something in trade on her and work it out in training with him.
