"Rocky" is a spectacular young Elhew male. He just turned 3 years on March 17, 2008. He is a turn key foot hunter's dog with a range of between 30-100 yards. Just load him up, hit the field and watch the class and distinction of a fine Elhew pointer at work.

"Rocky" is whoa broke, whistle trained, here broke, retrieves to hand, backs on sight or command, is quiet and clean in the kennel and a VERY, VERY pleasant dog to be around. He has the experience, style and flare to walk into any foot hunting string anywhere and flat put on a show. If we weren't getting out of the business this dog could not be bought from me. He's that nice for the foot hunting that we do. I'd put him bird for bird in the wild bird field against any 3 year old out there. He might not beat every one of them but he's going to beat 97 or 98 out of 100 of them.

I'm not going to condition his sale on it, but if possible and practical distance wise, if I keep a few Elhews for personal hunting purposes, I would like to breed to him in the future. In this business a person almost has to go to champions for the pedigree, but once we're out of the business and doing it for personal, Rocky is an elegant foot hunting machine that I would like to have a couple litters out of if possible.
