Gus is a finished bird dog, he is force broke to retrieve, points his birds with style, backs on sight, handles walking birds, hunts hard and long, has been on grouse, woodcock, and pheasants, he has performed very exceptional on his birds. He is a very personable dog, not a barker, nor aggressive. His obedience is exceptional. He is a very nice sized male and has a perfect mask, his weight is 45 pounds and his physical shape is very good at this time, I have been trialing him on the NSTRA circuit sparingly, grouse hunting is where he shines, he is fun to watch in the woods, he hunts hard all day and gives you 100 percent all the time, but will lay in the truck seat and curl up and act like a house dog. His pedigree is very classy, he is a son of Grouse Ridge Reroy. Gus will make you a first class, bragging bird dog that most people only own once in a lifetime. He has had hundreds of birds shot over him and we would be happy to show him off at the kennel for anyone that wanted to see him perform.
