Indy is a started 18 month old spayed female that will make someone a fantastic bird dog and/or field trial prospect. Indy weighs about 45lbs, has a tight, short coat and enough beard to tell that she is a wirehair. She is an exceptional natural talent and has been finding, pointing and retrieving wild birds since she was 8 months old. Indy is a fast, medium to large ranging dog in the field with exceptional ground covering and bird finding abilities. Indy has a knack for handling the spookiest of birds. She is very biddable in the field and always knows where her handlers is. Indy has 30+ days of wild bird hunting experience and has been started on basic obedience (whoa, heel and force fetch). She is very cooperative and hunts well with other dogs and will reliably honor them. She is not a strong water dog but, she would do fine for occasional jump-shooting or small-water retrieves. Indy has an excellent personality and does great in the house. She is from excellent lines and two of her full-siblings are NAVHDA prize I utility dogs.
