Joe is a 5yr old finished pointer out of Elhew Apache (Son of Elhew Crazyhorse) and a Damascus-bred female. He points, backs and retrieves. He has been used on a preserve hunting pheasants and chukars but he excels at wild covey birds such as chukars, huns and sharpies. He is the best people-oriented pointer I have ever owned. I just can't say enough about him and I never thought I would ever part with him but I am going a different direction with my bird dogs and he deserves to be used more for what he was born and bred to do. He runs medium and would make a great shoot-to-retrieve dog. I always run my dogs with a collar but I can't remember the last time I had to bump him, he just handles that easily, although he is bird crazy and never wants to quit or be put up. He absolutely eats, drinks and sleeps birds. That's all he thinks about but in the yard is calm and nice to be around. He loves kids and gets along well with other dogs. He is one of those dogs that come available on a rare occasion. Serious inquiries only please!
