Only pup from this breeding that was not spoken for before birth. Parents selected for foot hunting, so they work closer in thick cover, but range out 500-600 yards if handler is in sight. You will be hard pressed to find dogs with more natural upland instinct. These dogs live for the hunt, they are high energy & driven in the field, and will go until you make them stop. However, they have an off switch and are calmer in the house, plus smaller than standard setters so they make excellent, loyal, companions and family dogs as well. Pedigrees go back to Kings Kennel, and Hank (from the popular TV series Hunting with Hank) is in the Dams pedigree. This is the 3 generation we have bred, and we know of no genetic defects or joint issues in their direct line.
