As a breed, the Hungarian Vizsla are medium sized dogs (40 to 60 lb) and pretty much take care of themselves. Shedding of hair is minimal and the dogs have no odor/smell. They are an active breed and should have room to run/exercise. They are also very friendly animals, so much so, that small children may be knocked over. If you are not willing to train your pet, then these dogs are not recommended for you! They live in our home---receiving much love/attention and socializing to touch/handling, human voices, TV, activity, etc. *****
