I have four pups left out of a 6wk old litter, including 3 males and one female.
The sire is a beautiful young dog that is becoming a true gentleman's shooting dog. He has a very nice pattern, with a range which varies depending on the cover. He naturally keeps check of your position, always hunting to the gun. This dog's temperament is awesome. He is as at home curled up beside you as he is in the field.
The female comes from shoot to retrieve lines where a slight but explosive frame is a highly sought after trait. She has an abundant energy level (not nervous energy)... very well suited to her job. She is starting her second season, and thus far has not shown any symptoms of the "terrible two's". She is all business and very biddable.
I also have a three pups left out of an exceptional litter which were born at the end of May. I had planned to keep all three, but have since decided that I do not have the time to train three pups the same age. Two of them will be sold. They are, in my opinion, virtually equal in quality, so I'll give the pick of the three to interested parties. I would prefer they'd go to a hunting home. These pups are three of the best I've seen with personality to match.
The Dam is my personal hunting dog who, by the way, lives in our house. Her bloodline is linebred Elhew with some truly great names throughout her 4 generation lineage and the English Pointer "Icons" dominating everything prior to that.
She was the type of dog whose superior
breeding has stamped her with unbelieveable natural pointing, backing, and retrieving instincts. She is the type of dog you hope you can duplicate and improve upon with selective breeding, but are skeptical. She's extremely stylish, animated, and professional in the field, but a sweetheart and a real joy to have as a memeber of our family.
She is my hunting companion, but her primary role in life has become family pet. She adores my three kids and they love her. Most people who visit or come into contact with her comment on her manners.
These pups will make bragging rights dogs in the field and an entertaining and loving addition to your family.
