CH Quail Trap Will “Will” x Ralphys Bella “Bella”
We have bred our “Bella” to “Will” and are excited to announce we had 5 females and 4 males on 3/28/17.
“Will” is a 50-pound powerful male setter who has wins in both walking and cover dog trials as well as horseback stakes. He is a son of 2X National Champion Shadow Oak Bo and 4X CH Quail Trap Sadie. We chose Will because of impeccable bird finding ability, style, and biddability. He has proven to be an excellent hunting, field trial, and companion dog.
Wills most notable win was the Region 13 Championship.
“Bella” is a 39-pound daughter of CH Jetsetter and Quail Trap Mary. Bella is one of the hardest hunting and most athletic coverdogs I have seen. She doesn’t let anything stop her and will bust through the thickest of covers. Bella is a medium range and biddable go-with-you type dog that just doesn’t quit. She is a young dog but has proven her potential winning the hour long Eaton Spring Derby Classic in Michigan last spring besting a 25 dog field with a solid work on wild grouse.
Both dogs are great bird finders, good in the heat, beautiful on point, and a lot of fun to hunt with. They have successfully hunted wild birds- grouse, woodcock, sharptail, pheasants, and quail in several states.
Both dogs are house dogs and Bella can be seen at my home in Western Pennsylvania.
