We have recently bred Kia to 2.5X GMPR Cashman’s Touch ‘em All Kirby SH with pups expected late January and going home just in time for Easter. These pups will be ready to hunt the fall of 2016.

Through feedback and personal experience with our previous Kia/Trooper litter, we know that these genetics match up very well. Kirby is a son of 4X GMPR Trooper MH with an even greater skill set, if you can imagine that. This is exactly what you would expect from a Raider line breeding. Before the age of 3, Kirby has already excelled in the hunt test arena, achieving a 2.5X GMPR status and going 4 for 4 in both AKC JH and SH. He is also 3 for 3 at the MH level and will have the MH title next spring. Kirby is also running field trials with a JAM and a couple of top 3 finishes while also acquiring QAA points. Kirby is a pin point marker and runs hard on blinds with a big water entry. In the upland he covers ground efficiently and has a very strong point with a great nose to point a good distance off the birds. Several sources have recently told me that Kirby is the real deal and arguably one of the best currently running APLA events.

Kia is a 52# bundle of energy packed into a compact well-muscled frame. She is out of GMPR Duke’s True Grit SH with GMPR MHR Raider MH lines on her bottom side. With a long list of GMPR’s in Kia’s pedigree and her intense point, Kia’s genetics have proven to be consistent producers for generations. Kia’s maternal side goes back to the foundation of Cashman Kennels. Like her father, GMPR Dukes True Grit who has been widely recognized for his hard charging style, Kia leaves nothing on the table in everything she does and caps it off with one of the most rock solid intense points that you will see in the Labrador world. Kia has an extremely high prey drive with a never quit attitude. She possesses the endurance to hunt the upland field for hours on end and is routinely chosen to handle the heaviest cover. Kia is an excellent retriever in both the upland and in the water. Her marking ability is exceptional and has a knack for tracking cripples. Her intelligence along with a willingness to learn and desire to please has made training quite easy. At the end of the day, Kia has the off switch to be the family pet and lay at your side wherever you are. Kia has all the health clearances for responsible breeding. Hips are OFA good, elbows normal, current CERF, EIC clear, CNM clear, PRA clear, and RD/OSD clear. Pups will have dews removed, first set of shots, dewormed, healthy puppy checkup, and come with a 28 month guarantee to be free of inherited diseases. Puppies will undergo the Early Neurological Stimulation program, be exposed to wings and live birds, and will be well socialized. (Males $800/Females $900)
