Lumberjack Labradors specializes in AKC English Labrador Retriever puppies for the family. Located in Flagstaff, Arizona, we are a hobby breeder with a mission to provide high quality, reliable labradors. We breed for sound health and good temperament and our dogs are AKC & OFA registered. At this time we are growing our breeding program, so for 2015 we will only produce one litter of all yellow pups.
We are a small breeder, so we are able to spend quality time with our dogs working with and training them. Our girl, Bailey comes from a hunting pedigree in Northern California where she received her initial training, and we have continued to train her as a hunting dog. Living in the Coconino National Forest gives us an excellent playground to train dogs, take them on hikes, and let them swim in nearby lakes and creeks. Our puppies are born and raised in a home environment and we socialize them through frequent handling and play. All of our puppies will have lived with our mini Aussie Jack and our tabby cat Lucky, and been exposed to other animals when possible.
We have partnered with Zona Labs for our stud services. You can visit their website here. “Ruger” is the name of the stud we use. He is a handsome, friendly, healthy and well sought after stud.
All of our pups are examined by a Vet at 2-4 days and again at 6-weeks (1st immunization). Our puppies go to their new families with immunization records, AKC Litter Pedigree Certificate, copies of their parents’ OFA & CERF certificates, and general information about care and training. They are sold with a limited AKC registration to help protect the breed from genetic faults. And they come with a 24-month Heath Guarantee for hip and elbow dysplasia, and hereditary defects of the eyes. Finally, we microchip all of our puppies to help in their return to you in the event they are lost or stolen.
