Description:

The breeding of Porter and Daisy will bring together many attributes to better the breed of chocolate pointing labs. I am super excited to have this litter I strongly believe these pups will have IT ALL. Porter being 11 years old and still running and passing hunt test sets the standard for longevity that these pups will have. I believe longevity is very a important part to consider when buying a pup if I put all that love, time and money into something I want it to last for as long as possible.
This litter will have the looks that most would love to have. The pictures of Porter on the Internet don’t do him justice I was in awe of the way he looked when I first saw him especially for being 11yrs old. He is a very beautiful dog and if you know me I have to have looks in my dogs. Porter only had minimal pointing training when he started his pointing hunt test career and has had tremendous success at it. Brian told me he hopes to have his 4XGMPR next spring. There are 29 dogs in his five-generation pedigree that has either AFC or FC title or some have both. He has one of the most impressive pedigrees that I have seen in a chocolate dog. He is also EIC, CNM, PRA clear OFA good and Cerf clear. Take a look at his pedigree and you will agree you wont find a better bred chocolate lab in the country especially one that points.
Daisy is a very well breed female her self with multiple FC and AFC titles on her sires side. Her dam side is not very impressive on the title aspect but they are all great hunting dogs that point I had never heard of a “pointing lab” until I owned Dixie Daisy’s dam. Dixie was my first ever lab and if she wouldn’t of had to teach me as much as I taught her she would have probably had a lot more titles behind her name as well but she was a superb hunting dog. Dixie has produced several titled labs including my Aaron dog 4XGMPR HR SAMS CREEK HIGH PREIST OF ISRAEL SH. Daisy is a small-framed female that has all the desire in the world to please. She is a great family dog that loves the attention that my daughters give to her. Here at my kennel the family dog aspect is a big part of my breeding program because my 3 girls love the dogs. Daisy loves to retrieve and is a superb marker. She has prey drive out of this world with a beautiful point. Her only down side is she is a little timid around other people and has kept her from running the hunt tests, but hopeful for some tests with her soon as she is starting to come out of that. Daisy is EIC clear by percentage, Cerf clear and OFA good.
This litter will produce some very nice, well breed chocolate labs, which will be able to run any venue with success whether it be FT, hunt test or just a good all around hunting dog. The pups will have dewclaws removed and will be micro chipped, they will be well socialized from my girls and will be introduce to birds and maybe water if weather will allow. The pups will have looks, brains, drive, longevity, great marking ability’s, an off switch for excellent family pets, and big motors in the upland field. Take a look at their pedigree it speaks for its self. They will come with a 28-month health guarantee on their hips and eyes.
