Gus is from a NAVHDA breeder's award litter, and is a littermate to VC Griffs Viking Chewbacca; youngest dog to attain a perfect score at the NAVHDA Invitational. Gus has a tight maintenance free coat and solid conformation. He has a strong nose, stylish/ intense point, and natural retrieve. Gus has proven himself to be a solid performer in the field and water on many types of game. He is highly trainable, loves to work, and has an easy going temperament. He is a hard charging field dog, but gears down nicely in the house, making him a joy to live with.
