We have a purebred French Brittany that we got from a SD breeder for my mom at Easter. Gator was born the first week of December - so he's roughly 7 months old. We intially got him for the breed's characterisitic of being a good, loyal, loving family companion. However this boy was born to hunt! He has a great hunting instinct - nose always to the ground and seems to be incredibly birdy. He loves water, is NOT gun-shy at all, extremely enthusiastic, but also very sweet. He has such a friendly loving personality. Gator just has too much energy for my 68-year old recently widowed mother. Once he runs off the excess energy, he is very mellow and just wants to be where you are. She just can't keep up with the little guy and it breaks our heart but he would be much better suited to a younger family or for a family that hunts that can get him the exercise he needs. He is neutered, microchipped, and UPD on all his shots. Gator is truly a beautiful animal with a great personality and the pictures don't do him justice - we are only asking the amount for him to cover his cost as a purebred, the microchipping, and the vet expense to get him neutered.
