Black Star Kennels is pleased to offer an exceptional Spring litter from Fritz and Polly. Our puppies are all NAVHDA and AKC registered. They will be well socialized, exposed to birds, water, cover, and will be given many opportunities to explore our family farm.

We fully guarantee our dogs to be free of genetic health conditions for 24 months. Puppies can be picked locally at 8 weeks of age. Ground or air transport can also be arranged from Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska. A $200 deposit will reserve your new hunting companion.

Ch. Idawire Field of Dreams MH, NA "Fritz" (OFA Hips Good, Thyroid Normal) is one of those dogs that will excel at anything you ask of him. Simply put, he is a great dog that produces great dogs. Fritz is an excellent companion, has a big heart, and aims to please.

Fritz has a medium dense/ medium harsh coat, and athletic build (74lbs). As a young dog, Fritz quickly finished his AKC conformation title. He also won Winners Dog at the 2008 GWPCA National Show and a Sporting Group 2nd.

Fritz is also a talented gundog with a strong / stylish / classy point and tremendous manners on game. At 9 months of age, he earned a NAVHDA NA Prize II, handled by his novice owner. As a broke dog, Fritz has had a successful field trial career; earning multiple placements and over 90 defeats in all breed completion in two years. In the spring of 2013, I had the pleasure of training and handling Fritz to all six legs of his AKC Master Hunter title.

Polly v.d. Prairie (OFA Hips Good, Elbows, Thyroid, Cardiac, Cerf. Eyes Normal) is the product of some of the most dedicated and successful Drahthaar breeders in the country. Her relentless drive, correct conformation (64lbs, Dense/ Harsh Coat), and style on game make her a pleasure to watch in the field and marsh. Polly is bold, independent, and highly intelligent but easily handled and trained. Polly's first litter produced some of the finest pups that have left our kennel both in conformation and field ability. This pairing of Polly and Fritz should again provide some exceptional pups with tons of style, drive, and natural ability.
