Beautiful litter of 10 Brittany pups whelped on June 18, 2013. The sire of this litter is my male Smoke's Confederate Bullet, aka Rebel. He is sired directly by 32X NSTRA Champion and ABC Hall of Fame member, Nolan's Last Bullet. His grandsire is another ABC Hall of Fame member, 11X American Field Champion, NFC/FC/AFC Shambo's Dark Shadow. Rebel is an extremely nice male who certainly inherited great bird finding ability from his legendary sire and grandsire. He has an unbelievable nose and also has a ton of style. He is one of the smartest dogs out in the field that I have ever seen in over 20 years of working with birddogs. He knows what his job is and does it with very little handling needed from me. Rebel is a top notch wild birddog and has also been very successful in trials. He is OFA Good.
The mother of the pups is my female Smokes Little Flicker aka "Flame." She is sired by another living legend, 4X American Field Champion NGDC/NAGDC/FC/AFC Peter Gunn. Pete has accomplished what no other Brittany ever has by winning both National Gundog Championships in 2009. Flame is an outstanding hunter with a ton of drive and intensity. She has alot of heart and has a relentless pursuit when looking for birds. When not hunting she has a very sweet, laid back disposition and has never met a stranger. She is also OFA Good.
These pups will be absolute bluebloods as far as Brittanys go and should make excellent additions to anyone's kennel. They should have all it takes to excel in various venues of trials and should also make outstanding wild birddogs. They certainly have an edge as far as lineage is concerned! There are 5 males and 5 females in the litter and they will be ready to go to their new homes around the first week of August. Males are $700 and females are $800. Pups will come with health and hip guarantee along with AKC registration application. They will also have all scheduled wormings and vaccinations at time of departure.
