I have a litter of Llewellin Setter puppies that were whelped 10-18-11. The sire is out of the Dashing Bondhu line, which is the line of setters for which the breed was named. The sire is also quadruple bred to Bondhu Ashly. Ashly is the sire of the 2 most famous Llewellins, Hank and Dash. These dogs had their own hunting shows, Hunting with Hank and Hunting with Dash. Both the sire and the dam have great natural hunting instincts and also are great family pets. These puppies will certainly have natural hunting instincts and a natural drive to make any hunter proud. These dogs work closely to the gun and will hunt for the hunter. They are very loyal and need regular attention. These dogs also make great pets. Our dogs spend the day lying around the house. They are very easy to train and take instruction quickly. These dog's personalities are similar to an older lab but they dont go through the terrible chewing and hyper stage to settle into the laid back state where they can be enjoyed. There are 4 puppies left. 3 males and 1 female. The female is a Tri-Belton and the 3 males are Orange Beltons. These puppies are ready to go to their new home anytime. They have been socialized already and are very affectionate towards people. The puppies are mostly white now but will develop spots llike their parents as they get older.
