Horizon Kennels is pleased to announce a very well planned/proven litter of German Shorthaired Pointers. Both Sire and Dam are hunted exclusively on wild birds here in South Dakota. Sire- Horizon's Prairie Wingman "Herb" is a NAVHDA NA Prize 1 112, as well as a member of a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder's Award Litter. Herb has everything we are looking for in a stud dog. Herb's Sire is the product of 30 years of breeding from Hustleberg Kennels, and his Dam is the product of 15 years of breeding here at Horizon Kennels. Dam- Horizon's Bailey. Bailey is a great wild bird dog and family companion; she was professionally trained at R Place Kennel. She has 3 littermates that are NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize 1's. Bailey is OFA Hip Certified "Good". Both Sire and Dam are from dogs with proven production records for producing early developing pups that point, back and retrieve, with a very high level of desire balanced with cooperation. This breeding "Herb X Bailey" is the result of selective breeding of the best offspring that we have produced for the foot hunter in the last 15 years.
