Sire: is out of Bill Kennedy's Smoke Creek Kennels in Bennet, Colorado. I have been purchasing dogs from Bill for the last 8 years. His lines have produced the most athletic and birdie dogs I have came into contact with! This male, "Smoke Creek's Oscar the IV" is no exception to the rule. He has more drive and energy then any other Whirehair I have had. He is a medium range dog that covers serious ground and always seems to have a stylish point when he sets up on a bird. "Oscar" is med. coat length, liver with white/liver ticking.
Dam: is out of Lee Bonnet's Cedar Breaks Kennels This was a kennel that I found two years ago when I was in the market to find lines outside of Smoke Creek for breeding. I picked out a male, which has the same parents as the Damn "Cedar Break's Lady Bird". This dog has evolved into what is now the best nosed dog I have ever had! He will not leave a bird (dead or alive) in the field. This breed is much more laid back. Truly displays a want to please his or her owner. We picked this female up after the male impressed us so much! She is GORGOUS. Flat and tight coat with liver spots with White and liver ticking. When she works she glides. Displays all of the traits that her brother does.
I really feel that this breed is going to be the perfect temperament for the avid foot hunter. Close to medium range, athletic, smart, and very birdie pups! Now taking deposits (200.00).
