She is a beautiful gundog with a German build. She has a nice block head and is very strong looking. She is one fast go getter, and finds her birds everytime no matter what the habitat is. Ike is 60 lb liver roan GSP. This gundog is an absolute pleasure to hunt behind. He is a close-working upland bird gun dog with a lot of drive and ambition for hunting. Our goal is to provide quality German Shorthaired Pointers for the foot hunter, as well as great additions to the family. Being upland bird hunters ourselves, we know what it takes to make a great gun dog. This is why we train hunting dogs, to ensure the good quality every gun dog hunter deserves in a German Shorthaired Pointer. All of our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies and started dogs are raised in a family environment.

Likewise, our German Shorthaired Pointers are allowed to run among each other to promote healthy interaction and friendliness. All of our breeding is done on site.

The German Shorthaired Pointer is a great dog in the field or in water, making them a great versatile hunting dog for both upland bird hunting or for waterfowl hunting.

100% guaranteed from nose to tail and everything in between. All our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies and gun dogs are guaranteed to be physically healthy at time of delivery. All shots and worming will be up to date. We will guarantee the hips to be rated as fair, good or excellent in an official O.F.A. licensed X-Ray procedure. This must not be done before the dog reaches 24 months of age and can not be done after 26 months of age. Our guarantee also covers any other diagnosed genetic defects, detected by the age of 26 months.

All my German Shorthaired Pointers are guaranteed to perform as advertised. As long as these steps are followed: when you get a started or finished gun dog from me, you must socialize the dog with yourself and the terrain that you will be hunting in, if different than Iowa. Work on the commands I send you, so the dog can get familiar with your voice and movements. This should be done over a two week period. Note: Young started dogs may take longer to adapt to new terrain and weather conditions, as it's a new learning experience for them. Please do not expect a young gun dog to hunt all day non-stop.

Tom Creek Kennels is experienced at shipping gun dogs via ground or air transportation. Shipping of gun dogs is currently available by air or ground transportation only in the continental United States and Canada.
