Description:

These pups are expected to be born in October 2008 and ready for pick-up before Christmas. Parents are exceptional duck and upland hunters. We began running hunt tests in 2007.

Sire: King Beaureguard of Gunner Boy, JH went 4/4 in 2007. He is currently working at a SH level. Beau is a 3 yr old hunting machine. He quarters naturally, points momentarily, and retrieves to hand without being force fetched. He runs blinds hard and handles with ease. He has been completely amateur trained and handled. He was busting through ice at 6 months old to retrieve downed waterfowl. He has flushed wild pheasants in Ohio with grass 5 ft tall. He has even ran wild rabbits within 10-15 ft of me. He is OFA'd and DNA'd through AKC.
His great grandsire is NFC Storm's Riptide Star. He also has dogs from Diamond R, Sunnyburke, and Iron Mt kennels in his pedigree.

Dam: Dr. Hershey, JH is a 2 yr old speed demon. She went 4/5 in spring 2008. She is quick, lean, and agile. She has a tremendous nose that will find a bird in the toughest cover. She was force fetched at Meglyn Retriever's winter 2007. All other training has been done by me. After whelping pups she'll continue her transition training. She is very eager to learn and please - Ecollar has not been used. Her sire is CP Radar's Doc's Gone Huntin' out of GMPR Augie's Cactus Jack, SH. Her sire's half-brother is Allegheny Upland Terror, SH (2 MH passes). He is also out of Cactus Jack. Hershey is OFA'd and DNA'd through AKC.

We are expecting these pups to be tall, lean, high drive, high birdiness, easy to train, and have a great water attitude as both Beau and Hershey will swim for hours on their own.
