This litter was whelped April 19, 2008. There are 8 females and 3 males. Sire: Fox Ridge Frieda’s Star MH Dam: Larue’s Rim Rock Jazz
This breeding combines two very successful NAVHDA bloodlines. Star’s sire is VC Shooting star’s son-of-a-gun and Jazz’s grandsire on both sides is VC Caden’s Saddle Tramp.

Star’s liter received the NAVHDA breeders award for natural ability and the rare utility breeders award. Both his sire and dam were on the cover of NAVHDA magazine. Star has produced 2 natural ability breeder’s award litters.
Jazz is my personal hunting dog. She has a great nose and pointing instincts. I have trained and worked with dozens of dogs, but none have been as gifted as she is. I hunt her on everything from chukars in the rugged, canyons of the Snake River to ducks in the Columbia Basin.
These puppies should be cooperative and have strong pointing instincts.
Jazz and Star have wonderful temperments. They are friendly dogs. Both rarely bark and are good in the house and in the cab of a pick-up. Their pups will be excellent family companions that thrive in the home. This will be an AKC & NAVHDA registered litter.
