Dam: CP Cattail Summer JH
There is no doubt that a pup from her litter is exactly what you want, especially if they are anything like Summer. She is the head turner, the one that makes other hunters go “wow” and leaves scorekeepers astonished. She’s the one that makes a diehard Pointer man sell his dog for a PL, twice. This is a gal that even at her current age can hunt all day for several days at a time. Longer legged, lean, fit and trim, well suited for the uplands and mean in the water. We hunt every weekend of season, including hunt vacations, and holidays mostly in pursuit of our local quail and waterfowl but we also travel the Midwest a few times each year to pheasant hunt. Summer knows how to handle both species as she has figured them out on her own. In her quest for quail she will run the full fenceline, working them as do the traditionals. But unlike the traditional white dog she works close in the pheasant field, within 40 yards back and forth, very animated and fun to watch. She has perfected the game and most of it on her own. She has also perfected the kids in my wife’s daycare where a grand performance means more cookies. She has filled my mind with so many wonderful memories and considering the shape that she is in at 7 years old, we will make more. This is her last litter. LR-129907G43F-PI Good; LR-34792
