Puppies whelped 18 June. 4 males, 2 females. Sire (Chance - Clearcut Endova Marriage, JH) is the son of Springset Ice Hot and CH Chaparal Rad-Aclee Clearcut, CD, SH. Dam (Samie - Taran's Tallgrass Samie NA III)) is from the pairing of Lord Cole of Huntly and Taran's Bela Star, both are ND pheasant dogs with more than a thousand birds (preserve and wild) shot over them. Chance was hunted on wild birds over 40 days last year and is used occasionally as a preserve guide dog. Samie has her NAVHDA NA prize III , has a natural back, is steady to wing and shot (in a training environment, we haven't moved to a hunting situation yet), loves the water and retrieves with the enthusaism of a lab. Samie is a terrific hunting dog and companion. These are 2 very nice dogs. Both range about 100 to 200 yards in open country, both dogs are OFA'd "Good", no allergies, very healthy dogs . These dogs are excellent house dogs, good with other animals and kids as well as bird finding fools. These dogs handle extremely well without e-collars.
