The "M" Litter vom Coraschatten whelped last night. We had a litter of 8 big and healthy Deutsch Langhaar puppies last night. I thought I had all 8 pre-sold but then we had 3 people back out due to color preferences. So now I have 3 brown males that I would like to place in hunting (& preferably testing) homes. Pups will be available for new homes after August 5th, 2019.

The dam is a big beautiful hellschimmel bitch that I bred 3.5 years ago. I liked her so much that I asked her owners if they would be willing to lease her back to me for this breeding. Ivanka "Hilde" vom Coraschatten is a super sweet and cooperative girl with tons of point, a strong natural retrieve, excellent blood tracking ability, and she loves the water. She is primarily hunted on ruffed grouse and pheasants. Her temperament is really ideal. She is super mellow and quiet in the house, but yet turns it on when going afield. Her information is below:

The sire is a strongly-built handsome male that I imported from Germany about 3 years ago. Levis vom Veyback "Luke" is primarily hunted on prairie grouse, pheasants, and quail. But his real love is waterwork. He is a very cooperative boy that was super-easy to train. Force-fetch was a piece of cake and he was always naturally strong on point so he was easy to steady to wing, shot, and fall before he was a year old. He won Best Looking Male at the DL-GNA Breed Show last fall. But most importantly, this boy is about as bomb-proof as they come for temperament. He is very friendly with every person and dog (including males) that he meets. I've seen him charm male dogs that have attacked him into playing with him. And he has a true on/off switch. When he is in the house, he is a total couch potato. But when he's hunting he is a medium-range upland dog and a beast in the water. Here is Luke's information:

I would expect the puppies in this litter to have incredible on/off switches like their parents. They should be very calm and relaxed in the house but hard-hunting in the field. Both parents are big strong dogs so these pups should also have a lot of bone and substance. In short, these pups should be very handsome and easy to train gun-dogs. We register all of our litters with the Deutsch Langhaar Verband (pups will have JGHV ahnentafels) and NAVHDA. We sell our pups under contract and provide a health and hunting guarantee. We charge $1,800 for our puppies but offer a $500 refund after the puppy has his/her hips x-rayed and passes a VJP (JGHV Spring Natural Ability Test).
