Description:

We are currently have one very healthy, and very nicely marked black and white male available from this litter whelped 07/23/13, between "National Ch GK's Nuke It" and our own "NSTRA Ch Ridge Run's Dixieland Princess".

Nuke:

Nuke was chosen for his ability to produce exceptional dogs. While Nuke is quite the accomplished dog himself (2006 NSGPA National Champion), he is known as one of the premier producers among German Shorthair stud dogs. He has sired many winning dogs including the 2007 NGSPA National Shooting Dog Champion, 2011 GSPCA National All-Age Champion, and 3 Futurity winners and 5 placements. As a result he was named the 2010 GSPCA Field Trial Sire of the Year. This is a breeding we are very excited about, and feel very fortunate to be able to bring to our kennels.

Princess:

Princess has been very impressive in her first full year of field trials. She has essentially championed out in her first full year and finished 1st Runner-Up in this years Oklahoma Region Elimination Championship Trial. Princess is a very intelligent dog with a wonderful demeanor. She shows a very strong desire to please, and accepts training exceptionally easily. She covers ground at a very fast pace, handles incredibly well, holds her birds with staunchness, and shows a strong nose. Over the course of her first season of trialing she has shown herself to a true bird finder, and has impressed at every level she's run at from local to nationals. Princess has an absolutely incredible pedigree. Princess was sired by 6x NSTRA Ch Rockin' G's Uodibar Rusty (the first and only black and white Shorthair stud with a field trial title) and 3x NSTRA Ch Rockin' G's Dixieland Fritzie. She is the grandaughter of 4x NSTRA Ch Dixieland's Black Magic (the first ever black and white German Shorthair to earn a field trial Championship), and 16x NSTRA Ch and 4x National Champion Crosswind's Truckin' Fritz.


This breeding exemplifies everything we want to produce from our lines. These may be the best bred black and white german shorthairs that can be found, and an exceptional cross regardless of color.
