Breeding Goal: To produce smaller to medium-sized Deutsch Drahthaars with females weighing between 50-60 pounds and males weighing between 60-70 pounds.

Temperament and health are my first concern. I am hoping to produce calm, friendly dogs that are peaceful and pleasurable to be around in the home and while traveling. I expect my dogs to be friendly around children and other dogs. I am also hoping to see the “on/off switch”, meaning that these dogs know when it is family time and when the tail gate drops, it is time to get the job done.

Both parents and all ancestors are registered Verin Deutsch Drahthaars and they have passed all of the Performance Testing and Breed Show Evaluations. Fawn and Eddy are both VGP Tested Utility Dogs. The VGP is the Gold Standard for our Breed; it is the most difficult and most demanding versatile hunting dog test in the world. The VGP is two full days of Utility Testing and it covers all aspects of hunting in: Forest, Swamp and Field. Because both parents are certified VGP dogs, this is a Performance Breeding.
