Black Star Kennels is pleased to offer two exceptional summer litters. Our puppies are all NAVHDA and AKC registered. They will be well socialized, exposed to birds, water, cover, and will be given many opportunities to explore our farm.

We fully guarantee our dogs to be free of genetic health conditions for 24 months. Puppies can be picked locally at 8 weeks of age. Ground or air transport can also be arranged from Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska. A $200 deposit will reserve your new hunting companion.

VC Griffs Xplosive Gunner NA, UT x L.B.'s Good Golly Miss Dotty JH, MH, NA

Gunner is undoubtedly one of the most impressive wires I have ever put my hands on. At 26in and 68lbs, he is solid hunting machine with drive and style to burn. Gunner has a very nice coat and conformation allowing him to move effortlessly on land and water. In 2008 Gunner earned the title of Versatile Champion with a flawless performance at the NAVHDA Invitational. That same year he also won the NATHA South Dakota Pheasant Championship. Gunner is a proven producer, passing on his style, intensity, class, and temperament to his pups.

Dotty is our home grown phenom - born, bred, and trained right here in our kennel. She never ceases to amaze us, and seems to only get better with time. Dotty is highly driven, easily trainable, and just plain a great dog to be around. At just over 3 years old she completed her AKC Master Hunter title, a testament to her abilities. She has hunted all over the United States, pointing and retrieving countless numbers of gamebirds and waterfowl. The true testament to Dotty's legacy are her pups following in her footsteps and putting smiles on hunters, field trialers, and family's faces across the country. The pairing of these two exceptional dogs should produce some phenomenal pups.

Phoenix is 62lb black & white male. He is a very agile and stylish dog with a great temperament, phenomenal coat, and some of the tightest hips in the breed. He has a strong pointing instinct which made for a naturally backing dog; and his fieldwork is only surpassed by his relentless drive in the water. Phoenix's easy demeanor and willingness to please also make him a great house dog.

Polly is the product of some of the most dedicated and successful Drahthaar breeders in the country. Her relentless drive, correct conformation, and style on game make her a pleasure to watch in the field and marsh. Polly is bold, independent, and highly intelligent but easily handled and trained. This pairing of Polly and Phoenix should produce some exceptional pups with tons of style and natural ability.
