Expected breeding in May with pups in late June or July.

This is an exciting cross that should produce superior bird finders that will excel as personal hunting companions and will have the versatility to compete in any venue. The cross brings together a heavy concentation of DC Hillhaven's Hustler, Wendy vom Enzstrand, and VC Jacob vd Westwind MH. Axel comes from a Natural Ability Breeder Award Litter and both his sire and dam are NAVHDA Versatile Champions. Sage comes from a long line of proven field performers and we expect great things from her in the future.

Sage was recently acquired to be a part of our breeding program and hunting family. She brings a great disposition, intense point and superior nose. Her pedigree is packed full of Master Hunters primarily from the well known Top Gun bloodlines. She is the double granddaugher of Jaegerjof's Sir Henry Higgins MH, the 2008 Hunt Test Sire of the Year. She was purchased from South Dakota where she experienced two seasons of wild pheasant hunting. She will be competing in AKC hunt tests and NAVHDA testing in the coming year.

Axel is the stud dog for our kennel and is a great example of a versatile shorthair. He is a great wild bird dog and was successful at a very young age in the highest levels of AKC and NAVHDA testing. Please see our website for more information and pedigrees.

Puppies from this litter will be AKC and NAVHDA registered. Males $700 and Females $800.
