Dixie has a phonoemenal pedigee and is a hunting machine with a natural point! She hunts hard on pheasants and ducks and is the most powerful swimming dog I have. Last fall she guided pheasants in South Dakota for a 90 day season on a preserve!! She saw more birds than most dogs get in a lifetime! She will hunt this fall after her pups are weaned, she will spent alot of time in the upland, we are planning trips in South Dakota our own backyard here in Iowa. In late December she will accompany me on a 12 day quail hunt that starts in Kansas and wraps up in Arizona.
