Both these puppies have been started in the field and water. They take daily walks through thick pheasant habitat. We have never seen puppies with so much drive to swim and retrieve bumpers. They have pointed chuckar and pigeons.

Wesley is a tireless hunter that will spend hours in the field or water. He has been hunted on pheasant, grouse, woodcock, ducks, and geese. He is also a show champion with an excellent solid liver coat that anyone could be proud of. All of his solid liver offspring have had his same striking color. Not only a tireless hunter, Wesley has spent many times enjoying the company of elementary children as he was used as a demo dog to teach safety around dogs.

This repeat breeding is proving to top the first. The first litter was a NAVHDA NA breeder’s award litter. 8 pups passed the NA test under the age of 1 year with most being successful at under 8 months of age. The end tally was 2 perfect score Prize I’s and 6 Prize II’s. A few from this litter will be Utility testing as 2 year olds this fall.
