Description:

The Braque du Bourbonnais is truly a versatile hunting companion, described as an “easy to live with talent in a small package”. A biddable pointer with a calm, gentle demeanor that is ideally suited for the foot hunter. The breed’s small size and short coat adds to their value as an ideal pet and home companion for the family that hunts.

Elk Run Kennels has been dedicated to breeding superior Braque du Bourbonnais since 1991, longer than any other kennel in North America. Elk Run Kennels is now taking reservations for two planned early winter litters. We are very serious about our breeding program. Elk Run Kennels is committed to responsible breeding to assure puppies of the highest quality available in North America. We offer puppies only from imported sires and dams out of French field trial champions. All of our sires and dams are proven bird dogs, all are NAVHDA Natural Ability, and Utility Test qualified. We utilize the PennHip program to certify the hip quality of all dogs in our breeding program.

Elk Run Braque du Bourbonnais are bred by a hunter to hunt.
