Summary:I love the features in Tri-Tronics Sport Upland. It has a 1/2 mile range and it has more levels of momentary stimulation than what we normally expect. It has 10 levels of momentary stim and continuous stim. It also has a beeper function that you can switch on/off as you wish. You can also use this for multiple dogs. You can add up to 3 dogs. Even with more dogs, this product is still very easy to operate. You will find a color coded toggle switch on the transmitter which matches the collars of the dog which gives you a quick and easy guide when controlling multiple dogs. It is also 100%. I would recommend this to bird dog hunters.

Great multiple dogs feature

Summary:I own two hunting dogs and the multiple dog-feature on this product is great. It allows me to use one transmitter to control both dogs. I can easily switch from one dog to another since the control is color coded according to the collar used by your dog. It is waterproof, rechargeable and very durable. I’ve dropped the transmitter several times and it didn’t show any signs of breaking. It’s really nice to have a product that helps you control your dogs. I highly recommend this collar. You should try it for yourself.

Love the beeper!

Summary:I love hunting with my dog. It helps me unwind after working very hard at the office. I’ve been training my dog for hunting and this collar has helped me do it with extreme ease. My favorite feature is the beeper function of this product. I can easily switch it on or off depending on when I need. For instance, I switch it on when I need to locate my dog on point when the foliage is thick. Other than that, I just turn it off. It is really helpful since I always prefer to approach our “target” quietly.

Summary:You can actually add a remote beeper to any of the other Tri-Tronics G3 EXP collars so the Sport Upland G3 is really not that “special” as it sounds. Although it does have its perks. The important thing is you know what you want and what you need. This collar is versatile. It offers both continuous and momentary stimulation options. It has more levels for momentary stimulation so if you are looking for a collar with this feature, then this collar is the one for you.

Great product but got a defective unit

Summary:I’m just giving it 4 stars just because I got a defective unit. We tried it immediately when it finally arrived but it seemed that my dog wasn’t reacting on any of the stimulation levels. I started at the lowest setting and gradually increased it but my dog didn’t even flinch. I decided to try it on my wrist and I didn’t feel anything either. I immediately contacted customer support and they gladly assisted me and I was able to get a replacement unit. The second unit was okay and we were able to use it immediately. I was amazed with the results. My dog was trained quickly. I am loving this beeper feature too. I just wished I didn’t have to go through all that having to replace the unit. But other than that, all is well.
