Review of the SportDog collar (SD-1225)

Summary:SD-1225 collar saved me from a ton of trouble. I absolutely love it! It has taught my dogs how to behave well. It’s a good thing that it has a vibration feature which is what we usually use. To be honest, I’m too scared to use the stimulation although I know that it doesn’t hurt your dogs. So if there’s an option not to use it, I’d rather take it. I’m looking forward to having more fun using this collar. I’m sure my dog is to.

Pros:Vibration feature, Really Best Collar

Summary:I read a lot about this collar before I actually bought it. Everything described on the websites were true and I’m very happy about that. I really got what I expected from this product. It is very versatile and can be used even for hunting dogs. The transmitter is sleek and waterproof. Great for outdoor activities. You can choose for up to 16 levels of stimulation and you can even choose between continuous and momentary correction. I used the momentary then eventually switched to using the vibration only. Thanks SportDog for a wonderful product!

Summary:SD-1225 product is generally okay. However, if you have a very stubborn dog, or if the situation is just too extreme that your dog get’s too distracted, it is most likely that the dog will not respond to the collar. I’ve experienced this disadvantage only about a couple of times but generally, it works. Good thing I bought this for some basic obedience training like telling my dog to come or to stop him from running into the street or from jumping onto somebody.

Cons:Not a good training product

I do not recommend this product to a friend!
