Summary:I’m not really a fan of electronic collars but when I got 2 very hyperactive Brittany dogs, I just had to try this one out. Getting the dogs was really challenging. My friends even told me that I wouldn’t be able to train them. If I did, it would be for very long time. The first thing I did is I taught them voice commands. I hired a local trainer for that since I had no previous experience and I wanted my dog to learn them the right way. They finally finished their training after 16 weeks so I bought the collar to train them with it. It was perfect! My dogs are now much behaved and very obedient. I have no problems now whenever I take them out for a walk. They follow me around wherever I go. I would certainly recommend this to dog owners but I think it would work better if your dogs are already trained with the voice commands that you will be using.

Summary:What I love about SD-1825 is that it is very sleek. I commend the designers for giving its customers a very compact and user-friendly product. It is packed with a lot of features which gives you more leeway when it comes to training your dog. That is very important to me because every dog is different. I want that I would be able to use this product on other dogs that I would own in the future. It is basically very easy to use especially the transmitter that you use together with the collar. I have used other collars before but this one is the best by far.

Summary:Before switching to SportDOG SD-1825, I previously used another product and I was really disappointed and frustrated with it. I spent over a hundred dollars for that unit and I’m now regretting it. I had to look for another collar since my dog really needs to be trained or one day, he may not be able to come back after wandering off from our house. I just recently received the SportDOG last week and so far, everything has been wonderful. All the great things I’ve read on the internet are all true. My husband and I are really ecstatic about this. Not only is it effective, it is also very tough and durable. The dealmaker for me was actually the operating range of the collar which can go as high as a mile. I tested it and it really works at that range! I know it’s a bit on the pricier end but I’m not regretting buying this product. From now on, I’m never gonna trust another brand.

Summary:I am very much impressed. I read a lot about SD-1825 before finally deciding to buy this online. When it arrived (by the way, it arrived on time), I immediately checked it out and everything they said that it would do worked very well. It was very effective. It taught my dog how to behave itself. It’s really amazing how the product worked on my dog. I’m happy to tell you that I don’t even use the stimulation now. The beeper is all my dog needs. Sometimes, he even behaves himself without the beep.

Summary:Before I finally tried the SD-1825, I had a hard time containing my dog within the safe boundaries of our property. If his attention is caught by something such as a scent of a critter or whatever, he will go out and follow this trail even if you call out to him. I would then spend hours just looking for him and calling out his name so that he would come back home. Most of the time, I would never find him and he will just come back at his own terms. This product solved all these problems. After a few training sessions with this collar, my dog has quickly learned how to stay within my preferred limits. Sometimes, I still let him wander off but if I want him to come back, all I have to do is to correct him and he comes right back home. I use only the lowest setting since this is just enough for my dog. I just want to warn those who would want to use this collar. Use it properly. Read the instructions and do not use the collar on your dog until you understand them perfectly. Your dog should also be familiar with the voice commands that you will be using. Otherwise, if you don’t follow these precautions, you might just end up hurting your dog. Using the collar may not be as simple as you think. But if you just follow the guidelines, you’ll be fine.
