Summary:I love that you can use this product for up to 6 dogs. I currently own 4 dogs and I’ve been using this product for almost a year. I use it to train my dogs for hunting. We usually hunt together with my hunting buddies once a month. Or even twice if we don’t have much work to do. We own a small business and hunting is our way of having fun. The best thing about this collar for me is that it is very durable and it is waterproof. Hunting is a very rigorous sport. You get exposed to different types of environment and using gears that can withstand these conditions is very important. You have to invest in excellent products and this product is indeed very excellent. I’ve used it in the rain and during very cold days. We’ve also tried submerging it in water and it was still okay. My dogs love using it. They know that if I put it on them, we will be going out for hunting and for whatever other recreational things we do. Sometimes we go to the park or the beach.

Summary:I have no issues on the performance of the product. Overall, it is great. The size is just right. It has a slim profile and yet it is packed with a lot of features. The product operates using rechargeable batteries and recharging is very quick. Recharging only takes 2 hours but the collars and transmitter holds charge for several days. Using it was very easy. Of course, I had to read through their manual first to learn how to operate the system. The instructions were rather straightforward so operating it was no problem at all. However, I’ve noticed that after 3 weeks of use, the unit fails to operate even at distances of less than a mile. I’ve tried it at more than this range before and it was working well. But now, even in an open field, it wouldn’t work once it gets near the 1-mile mark. I called customer service and they said that they would gladly send a replacement after hearing that I did everything right. Maybe I just got a defective unit.

Summary:I was really happy at first with this product. Actually, I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn’t “died” too early. It is very easy to use and it comes with an operating guide and a basic training DVD and manual. It worked great with my dog. It wasn’t a walk in the park but after a few weeks of training, I was able to gain control of my pointer who seemed to have a mind of his own. I’m pretty sure I was using it as instructed. I read the manual and I watched the DVD a lot of times. There’s no misuse or mishandling of the unit. I do use it in the rain but it is supposed to be able to handle that since it is waterproof. But after just about 10 months of used it stopped working entirely. I was really disappointed. I was hoping that it would last longer since it was working very well. I haven’t contacted customer service. I’m still debating with myself whether I should call them or just buy a new unit.

Summary:Initially, I was very happy with purchasing this product. It was working as it should be. I bought 2 Add-a-Dog collars so that all my 3 dogs were included in the system. Training was going well for me. My dogs were responding to the collar pretty well. However, during the 3rd month, I noticed that the collar would stop working even at distances over half a mile. It was originally working for one mile – at least that was as far as I’ve tested it although it is supposed to work up to 2 miles. The first time I encountered this problem, I thought the battery was just running low. The next time I used it after a full charge, it was still acting the same. At this price ranges, I was expecting this product to perform well. I’m very disappointed with this product.

Summary:I bought this collar to train my 1 year old puppy. The first week went by with now problems. Actually, it was working great during that time. Before starting our training, I read the instructions thoroughly and did exactly what it stated. This morning, I just came back from running and I was greeted by my dog who was yelping uncontrollably. He was constantly yelping and I could sense the panic in her voice. I realized that the collar was on her (my wife put it on her after giving her a bath) and it was shocking her continuously for no reason at all. The collar just set off on its own. I was also panicking so I called my wife to help me remove the collar. When we finally got it off her, she gave a final whimper and slumped on the floor and stayed still for the rest of the morning. We tried to cheer her up but I guess she was too spooked to respond to us. She finally stood up around noon and went to her corner near our living room but she still looked gloomy. I was really distressed with what happened. This product hurt my dog. I’m never using a collar on my dog ever again.
