Outstanding dog collar!

Summary:I have used other dog collars in the past but this product has exceeded my expectations from dog collars. I’m currently using the mild setting and vibration features of the collar since my dog is quite the sensitive one. I wouldn’t want to upset him and ruin our training. It looks tough but I haven’t tried it in extreme conditions. It was easy to set-up and very straight-forward to operate. I was actually thinking that the 127 levels was a tad too much but who knows when you’ll need to use this feature. So actually, it’s not a bad thing. It adds to the flexibility of the collar. If you want a collar that you can use for any type of dog then buy this collar.

Amazing dog collar

Summary:This is my first time to buy a dog collar. I picked this collar after a lot of reading and browsing thru websites. This one got my attention because of its two dog model. It also has a long range, waterproof and operates on rechargeable batteries. I find it too much of a hassle to frequently go to the store just to buy batteries. This collar is really great! I can freely choose from several correction settings depending on what level my dogs will respond to. The vibration feature is great too. I can use it for my dogs without having to “shock” them and they respond to it very well. Charging is also very easy. You can charge all the receivers and transmitter from one outlet. Great Dogtra product.

Summary:I was quite disappointed with the range. The effective range decreases when you actually use it in areas with a lot of brush or in irregular topography. But other than that, everything is okay. It is very easy to use and it is tough. It can withstand getting wet, even seawater. We used it at the beach. It got some sand and seawater on it but it is still working okay even after that. Not bad for its price.

Summary:I’m really regretting my decision to buy this collar. Everything doesn't work! The battery indicator stays full and just suddenly shuts off when the battery is dead. Why is that? You don’t get any warning that you’re running low on battery! I contacted customer service and arranged for the return of the unit. So I sent it back to them. After a few days, they said I had to pay about half the cost of the collar for the replacement of the batteries. It was really infuriating! I had no choice. They had my collar and I didn't want to spend more to buy another one. I’d rather pay for half of the price. I’m never buying from Dogtra again.

Faulty Batteries

Summary:I purchased this collar because of its features especially the pager mode which is what I want to use on my dog. However, the batteries on this thing are very low-grade. They can’t even last a full day of training. I tested it by switching it on and not really using it but still, it didn’t last a day. I charged it as instructed but the batteries still perform poorly. I think I’ll buy a new collar. This one’s garbage.
