Summary:Dogtra 280NCP Platinum product has given me excellent results. It is really a great buy. Unlike in other reviews, I still have to use the stimulation button but that’s because my dog is a little bit more stubborn than most dogs. I just wish they added a beep/tone mode which I think would have been better than the vibrate mode since it would help me know her location at any given time and I think the tone is more similar to my voice than the vibration. But in any case, this product has indeed helped me a lot. Now I can take her on walks and go to the beach where dogs are allowed. We love to swim in the ocean and in situations like this, complete control of your dog is very necessary. The collar has also helped me control her when she tries to pester other dogs and other animals. I can easily call her to come to my side. I never had any problems with the collar and the receiver whenever we use it during our swims. This just proves that the unit is waterproof. I love its sleek design and the fact that it is very sturdy and durable. The battery is impressive. If you’re looking for dog collar, I suggest that you buy this one.

Summary:Most people are reluctant about using electronic collars to train their dog since they are afraid that the stimulus would harm their dog. My wife was one of them but I assured her that it will not harm our little dog but instead, we will all benefit from it. We named our 12 month old Corgi Willow. She is a very intelligent dog but she is easily distracted. I admit I was also quite hesitant at first but the moment I started using it, all my doubts disappeared. After just a short training session with Willow, she was able to follow my every command and I was only using the vibrate setting. Her reaction to the correction was more of confusion rather than pain or discomfort. I was very proud of her during our training. She was able to follow every command at 100%. We both had a lot of fun. I am very excited for our next training session. I’m sure she will perform well if not better.

Summary:I was vacationing in Arizona at a horse camp with my Australian Cattle Dog trail riding. My dog was 1 1/2 years old and out of control when I was up on my horse swinging from all the horses tails. She thought it was a game and got kicked over and over and didn't seem to care. She was a well trained obedient dog when I was on the ground with her. I called Dogtra and you reccommended the 280NCP. I couldn't be happier, we go through water, meet strangers and other horses....she is perfect, no fence fighting, stays out of the street follows along and understands NO. I rarely use the shock setting the pager is very effective. This is a bully breed and not easy to train but she loves to please. It is a wonderful aid to have a polite dog.

Summary:It has been a week since I started using Dogtra 280NCP Platinum product on my dog. He is an intelligent mixed breed but he just can’t help but go after wild life which unfortunately is around us. We bought this product to keep our dog from chasing after other animals (mostly deer). We only had to use the lower settings since our dog readily responds to it. We only had to use the nip button a couple of times. The only issue I have with this product is that it is a bit tricky to turn on. To turn the collar on, you have to make sure that the red dots match up while to switching the remote on. I also own a DT trainer which use on another dog and the designated on/off switch is a lot simpler to use. But this is just a small issue. I like that it is very handy and you can holster it on your belt or you can also wear it around your neck. Generally, I am pleased with this product.

Summary:I was hesitant to try Dogtra 280NCP Platinum product out but our trainer has been insisting that this is the only collar that he would recommend and I am now realizing why. Aside from the fact that it is very well made (it is very durable and completely waterproof) and that it can give you the results that you want, this product is suitable for almost any type of dog. You can easily customize the settings according to how your dog will respond to it. We have 2 dogs with 2 very different behaviors but this collar has worked on both of them. I’m very satisfied.
