Summary:We own a 4 year old dog and our daughter is very fond of her. The only problem we have is our dog barks a lot. I wouldn’t want to give the dog away. My daughter would definitely be heartbroken. But if I hadn’t found a solution to our problem, we would have to let the dog go. Before the BarkLimiter, we had to take her inside the house after 9pm just to keep her from disturbing our neighbors. We tried other collars first but at best, we only got 50% improvement in our dog’s barking behavior. Good thing we found the Garmin BarkLimiter. This collar has completely surprised me. From the first day she used the collar, she has only bark only 2 times in 2 days. We were very happy with the results. We were used to her barking around a hundred barks each day. No it has drastically reduced to only 2 in 2 days. Our family is very grateful to Garmin for creating this amazing product.

Summary:This product is top quality. You can easily see that it was made with great care and precision. It works perfectly with my dog. I just find it hard to switch off my unit that I end up not switching it off at all. As a result, I need to keep on replacing the batteries. I hope they improve this.

Summary:I’ve wanted a dog as a pet so I finally decided to get a dog about 3 months ago. Boy was she a barker. She kept on barking especially at the dog owned by my neighbor. I tried several other things to make her stopped barking but they just won’t work. I finally bought this collar and it worked like a charm. Within just a few days of teaching her how to use it, she was able to understand it quickly. I can easily get her attention using the collar. The first part was the tricky part since I have to make sure that the level of stimulation I’m using is appropriate for her. But once we got it, everything went on smoothly. I’ve been using it ever since and it has never failed me when I need to remind my dog to behave. One very important thing to keep in mind is to make sure that you have placed the collar on your dog properly. If it is too loose, it will not get into contact with your dog’s skin and he won’t be able to feel the correction. Before I finally figured this out, I was wondering why my dog kept on barking even if I correcting her. I didn’t know then that it was not contacting my dog’s skin. It should be tight enough but not too tight to suffocate your dog.

Summary:I have never encountered any major issues with the regular Garmin collar that we have previously used. I was very impressed with its performance that’s why when I had a new dog who just loved to bark, I immediately bought the Garmin BarkLimiter . I was expecting the same level of performance with this collar but I was disappointed. I followed every detail in the instructions that came with the collar but it seemed to be not working. My dog has been wearing it for around 2 weeks but she still kept on barking. She wasn’t getting any correction every time she barked so I increased the level of stimulation. I thought that maybe my dog just got used to the lower setting. Still, it seemed that it wasn’t working. I was giving the collar another chance when suddenly it shocked the wits out of my dog. Worse of all, my dog wasn’t even barking. My friend also bought this collar and she had the same experience. I will never use of the BarkLimiter products of Garmin again.

Summary:I have multiple dogs and this collar will activate and shock the wearer when another dog barks. It has even shocked the dog when he was playing with a loud toy. I now use the collar as a paperweight as it is very unfair to the dog and unreliable. Horrible! This product is very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend to this to anybody who loves their dog. It kept on shocking my dog even if he wasn’t barking at all. The stimulation in the collar can be easily set off by another dog barking nearby or any other loud noise around your dog. Now it’s stored with most of our junk in our attic.
