Bowhunt Underway In Duluth

As Minnesota kicked off its statewide bowhunting season, the City of Duluth launched its first bowhunt in 25 years.

The urban hunt, established to thin the city’s burgeoning deer herd, opened Sept. 17 and will continue through Dec. 31. The deer have been damaging gardens, shrubs and city forests in Duluth. This is the first bowhunt since the activity was banned by city ordinance in 1980.

Wisconsin Bill Will Put More Sportsmen In The Field

(Madison) - Legislators in Wisconsin have introduced a bill which seeks to eliminate barriers for people who wish to give hunting a try.
