How to Change the SportDOG SD-105 / SD-105S Collar Receiver Batteries





How to Insert the Batteries (3-Volt)

1.   Remove the two screws on the receiver by utilizing a Phillips screwdriver.

2.   To open the battery door, look for the arrows onthe door and press the battery door along the direction of the arrows.

3.   Refer to the diagram on the receiver and place in two 3-volt lithium batteries accordingly.

4.   Close the battery door. Make sure that the gasket is well positioned and is free from dirt.

5.   Place the screws back making sure that it is tight enough. Avoid over-tightening the screws.

How to Switch the Collar Receiver On:

1.   Push the On/Off Button. Keep on pressing until you see the Receiver Indicator Light lights up and you hear five beeps from the Collar Receiver.

2.   Discontinue pressing the Button. Unless you switch off the Collar Receiver, the Indicator Light will keep on flashing. This means that the Collar Receiver is all set to accept a radio signal coming from the Remote Transmitter.

How to Switch the Collar Receiver Off:

1.   Push the On/Off Button. Keep on pressing until you see the Receiver Indicator Light lights up and you hear two beeps from the Collar Receiver.

2.   Stop pressing the On/Off Button.

Important: Your battery will last for approximately 30 days. However, the battery will only last for around 7 to 14 days if you leave the Collar Receiver on continuously.

 Receiver Indicator Light: What does it mean?
