Youngsters Enjoy QDMA Hunt

Seven youngsters, nominated by Quality Deer Management Association branches around the country, participated in the 2006 QDMA National Youth Hunt at the Fork Farm in Norwood, N.C. Two of the young hunters, including 13-year-old Lori McCain under the guidance of Olympic Gold Medalist shotgunner Kim Rhode, harvested mature does. After the morning hunt, Rhode shared with the youngsters, who ranged in age from 9-15, some of her Olympic experiences and demonstrated her shotgunning talents.
