Virginians 'Find Game' A new "Find Game" Web site created by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries will soon help Virginians do just that, reports The Free Lance-Star. The new site, funded by an NSSF Hunting Heritage Partnership grant, will feature an interactive, mapping program that will provide users with all they need to know about public hunting opportunities in Virginia. The Web site will highlight statewide public hunting land locations, wildlife management areas and leased lands, game species information and densities, historical harvest data, hunting regulations, aerial photography and more. Through the Hunting Heritage Partnership nearly $1.5 million in grants has been distributed to state wildlife agencies in the last three years by NSSF so states can implement programs to increase hunting opportunities.
