In his world championship debut, 16-year-old Vincent Hancock of Eatonton, Ga., took gold in men’s skeet with a 148 total score, edging Italy’s Ennie Falco by one target. Pvt. Joshua Richmond, a shooter for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, won the United States’ first world championship gold medal in junior men’s double trap. Richmond, along with fellow Pennsylvanian Corey Sidorek and Colorado's Matthew Drexler won bronze for team performance. Sgt.
