Trailblazer Sweepstakes Is A RISK-Free Fundraiser For Clubs

The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance announces the kick-off of its 2006 sweepstakes program, which allows sportsmen’s clubs to raise money while helping to protect America’s hunting heritage.

The 2006 Trailblazer Adventure Sweepstakes commenced this week and sportsmen’s clubs are ready to get involved. Participating groups promote the sweepstakes tickets in their communities for a $5 donation. They keep half of the proceeds with no obligation or risk. The balance will fund the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation’s Trailblazer Adventure Program. The largest-scale outdoor program of its kind, Trailblazer is designed to annually introduce thousands of families to outdoor sports.

“The Trailblazer Adventure Sweepstakes is one of the most successful money raising programs available to help clubs fund their own projects while at the same time helping to ensure the future of America’s outdoor heritage,” said Doug Jeanneret, USSA vice president of marketing. “And don’t forget about the great sweepstake prizes!”

The sweepstakes Grand Prize is a two-year lease on a Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 truck or $10,000 cash. First Prize is $5,000 cash. There are thousands of dollars worth of other prizes including hunting trips, firearms, archery equipment, knives and optics.

The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance is responsible for sweepstakes prizes acquisition and prints tickets and promotional materials. The Alliance mounts a national publicity program to aid in ticket distribution and distributes the prizes when the sweepstakes concludes. An independent accounting firm administers the sweepstakes and performs the prize drawing. A sweepstakes law firm ensures the legality of the program in every state.

The Trailblazer Adventure Program was designed by the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation to introduce youth and families to hunting, fishing and outdoor opportunities. Since its inception in 2001, Trailblazer has brought the thrill of outdoor sports to over 250,000 young people and families. Without the funds raised by the Trailblazer Adventure Sweepstakes, thousands of potential sportsmen may never experience the thrills of hunting, fishing and trapping.
