Toronto Mayor: 'People Don't Need To Own Handguns'

Toronto Mayor David Miller last week blamed the U.S. for the flow of illegal guns into his city and said citizens should not be allowed to own handguns, reports the Toronto Sun. "There's two things that need to be done. The first thing is people don't need to own handguns in this country . . . ownership has to be banned," Miller said. "The second thing is we've got to deal with the border. I'd say it's the biggest single immediate border security issue – the flood of guns coming and being used in shootings in this city."
